Last weekend, the Threshold crew kitted up and joined the action-packed annual Greystone Gravel Grinder, backing up the Huntsville Mountain Bike Association's mission. Hosted by Greystone with support from local legends like Muskoka Bicycle Pro Shop and Rally Beer, this event was all about blazing through Perry Township's scenic backroads. And boy, did the weather play along—a sunny Saturday greeted over 100 riders from near and far, itching to hit the trails and catch up with fellow pedal pushers.
We rolled up to Emsdale ready to rock, our trusty Land Rover Defender packed to the brim with our mobile coffee setup. Our mission? Keep those riders fuelled up with our signature espressos and a heap of maple pecan scones from none other than Granny Lyn's Kitchen. Spoiler alert: they were a hit!
But it wasn't just about serving up killer coffee and treats. We were stoked to chat with riders about their adventures and get their feedback on our bean selection for the café set to open any day now. Plus, we couldn't resist picking their brains for ideas on future bakery menu items. Let's just say, the brainstorming session got pretty tasty!
As the day wound down and riders trickled back to the start line, exhausted but buzzing with adrenaline, we kicked back and soaked in the vibes. The scent of wood oven pizzas from Mill on Main filled the air, laughter echoed across the parking lot, and the energy was electric.
All in all, it was a rad day spent doing what we love—fuelling up fellow adventurers, sharing laughs, and soaking up the sun. Big shoutout to everyone who came out and made the Greystone Gravel Grinder one for the books. Until next time, keep those wheels spinning and those cups full! 🚴☕️
